You can know Jesus Christ personally, today.
"For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." -- Romans 6:23
You can know Jesus personally by praying something like this:
Father, thank You for the free gift of eternal life. I know I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I am sorry for my past sins, and I ask You to forgive me. Jesus, I believe You died on the cross for my sins and arose from the dead. I now open the door of my heart and invite You to come into my life. I realize there is nothing I can do to earn my salvation, and I place my complete trust in You alone for eternal life. I choose to follow You as my Lord. Please make me the person You want me to be.
If you prayed this prayer and meant it, you can be assured that “whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Your life will begin to show outward evidence of Christ’s inner work in you spiritually. We’d like to send you more information. Please let us know of your decision to follow Christ and/or submit any questions you may have to us at contact@stjoecommunitychurch.org
We also invite you to begin growing spiritually within our worship community. Join us this Sunday for Worship (view details)

- We have all earned death by choosing to sin, or refusing to trust God with our life decisions.
- God freely offers us the gift of eternal life, something we cannot earn or work for.
- We must trust in Jesus Christ, believe He is God’s Son, died to pay the penalty for our sins, and rose again three days later, demonstrating His power over death.
- We must turn from our life of self-rule and surrender to Jesus as our Lord (or boss).
- When we call on Jesus to save us from death and sin, we are promised a personal relationship with Him that transforms us now and gives us life forever.
