May 29, 2022 Dear St. Joe Church family, St. Joe has a tremendous opportunity. Starting July 2, 2022, we will host a missionary family on furlough in our Glenwood house until February 2023. Meet the Workman family - Jesse and Stephanie Workman have been members of Wycliffe Bible Translators since 2015 and have been serving in South Africa since 2019. Jesse is a Translation Consultant-in-Training and the Director of HR for the SIL Southern Africa branch. Stephanie homeschools their four children (Aidan-13, Sophia-11, Molly-8, and Teddy-5). We know you will want to show love to this family in a practical way. Beth Moody and Sherry Doyle are putting together a “pounding” list to help stock the kitchen. Please take at least one item to purchase and return it by June 26. Thank you to the House Team: Dan and Rosemary Ertel, Becky Jones, Beth Moody, Sherry Doyle, Janae Byman and Thea Muessling. A special Thank You to all those who have worked so hard on house projects to get ready for the Workman family. I encourage you to email or text Jesse and Stephanie and welcome them to Fort Wayne and St. Joe. Any children interested can also email Aiden, Sophia, Molly and Teddy.
