By St. Joe Community Church communications Destiny Rescue is an internationally-recognized Christian non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing children trapped in the sex trade and on Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon, St. Joe Community Church will have the privilege of hosting a fundraiser for this important ministry.
Destiny Rescue's (DR) vision is to help the sexually exploited and enslaved, restore the abused, protect the vulnerable, empower the poor and be a voice for those who can’t speak up for themselves. DR currently operates in Thailand, Cambodia, the Dominican Republic, the Philippines and maintains offices in three donor nations: United States, Australia and New Zealand. Since 2011, DR has rescued over 2,000 children enslaved around the world, helped keep hundreds more from entering the sex trade through its prevention programs, ensured justice for those who have been wronged, and raised awareness about the sex slave trade. Human trafficking is a global problem, and affects us even here in Fort Wayne. It is our privilege and pleasure to come alongside this noble ministry. Please join us on Saturday morning, November 4.
