St Joe Community Church invites members and friends to attend a free seminar on gun safety provided by Safe Defense Consulting LLC on Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. This is a three-hour class presented by an expert trainer on the necessary knowledge, skill sets and wisdom of safely carrying, concealing and employing a pistol.
NOTE: Originally scheduled for January 19, 2019, this was rescheduled for February 23, 2019 because of the snow storm. The brochure below represents the new information.
A note from Pastor Byman on this seminar:
"This January 19 Handgun Education Seminar is led by my good friend Kevin Pensinger, a current Roanoke Police Officer and recently retired Conservation Officer. I invite you to attend this free information seminar. St Joe Community Church neither endorses nor restricts legally concealed weapons, but we ask anyone currently carrying or thinking about carrying to attend this seminar. This is part of our overall strategy to increase safety for all who participate in our worship and other ministry activities. I welcome any questions you may have. Alternatively, contact Kevin directly through the contact information on the flyer hosted on the website, here. Sincerely, Greg"
Student Fusion will equip and challenge students (grades 7-12) to understand what it means to be Restored. Join us for Student Fusion Camp 2019 as we see how God brought redemption through Jesus Christ. We must admit our sinfulness, repent and believe. When we do, God restores our relationship with Him and helps us navigate in a broken world.
