Connection Groups smaller groups of people meeting in homes, in our building or coffee shops for the purpose of connecting to the Word of God, to one another and helping the unconnected get connected!
“Every day in the temple complex, and in various homes, they continued teaching and proclaiming the good news that the Messiah is Jesus.” - Acts 5:42, (HCSB).
The early church gathered in large assemblies (in the temple complex) and in small groups (in various homes). We believe a small group setting is the best place to experience the purposes of the church in personal and practical ways. Sunday worship attenders examine the five purposes, but Connection Group attenders experience the five purposes. Connection Group participants get to know people better and learn how to encourage and help one another in practical ways.

Attend/Join |
St Joe Community has several Connection Groups to choose from. Not sure how to start? Suggestion: Pray that God would lead you to the group that’s best for you. If the group’s not right for you, no hard feelings! Just try another until you find the right spot.

Host |
One way to get involved is to simply open your home to a connections group, where you can play a key part in making a small group community possible in your region of Fort Wayne. If you can provide the space, St Joe can arrange a leader for your group.

Lead |
Do you have desire to help people connect with Jesus and with one another? Serving as a Connections Group Leader involves meeting specific requirements and completing Connection Group Leader Training. Once you are trained, you can lead a group in your home or we can set you up with a host home.
