What is a Connection Group?
A Connection Group is a small group of people who meet once a week to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and one another.  These small groups meet for 6-12 weeks to study, discuss and share life together.  These groups are the primary and practical means by which we obey Jesus’s command to make disciples (Matthew 28:19-20).

Our hope is that every person who attends St. Joe will, at some point, connect to a group.  It is God’s design that we grow in our faith together!  (At this time, none of the groups regularly offers child care, but if you have this need, or any other question, email the group leader and share your concern.  We will do the best we can to accommodate you!)

“Every day in the temple complex, and in various homes, they continued teaching and proclaiming the good news that the Messiah is Jesus.”  - Acts 5:42, (HCSB).

How to Get Involved
Attend/join: St Joe Community has several Connection Groups to choose from. Not sure how to start? Suggestion: Pray that God would lead you to the group that’s best for you. If the group’s not right for you, no hard feelings! Just try another until you find the right spot.

Host: One way to get involved is to simply open your home to a connections group, where you can play a key part in making a small group community possible in your region of Fort Wayne. If you can provide the space, St Joe can arrange a leader for your group.

Lead: Do you have desire to help people connect with Jesus and with one another?  Serving as a Connections Group Leader involves meeting specific requirements and completing Connection Group Leader Training.  Once you are trained, you can lead a group in your home or we can set you up with a host home.
