One of the things we have learned over the last seven months is that pandemics separate people. Pandemics can fool us into believing that we can follow Jesus on our own. The Bible reminds us, “Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it” (1 Corinthians 12:27). We are connected to one another and if we want to keep growing and serving Jesus, our COVID challenge is to find ways to stay connected.
We currently have seven different connection groups up and running. Some meet safely in the church and some meet safely in homes. Although our groups are not adding new people for the next 2 months – if you are feeling alone and want to find some connection, please let us know. I will be happy to safely meet and figure out how to help you creatively connect in! You can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
There’s still time to join a CG for the fall quarter, (groups will close on October 6th and reopen again in January). If you are interested in joining, or simply would like more information about the groups, please email Jon Moody (email@example.com).
